About Me

I am an MA student in the Moving Images Studies program at the Department of Communications at Georgia State University. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Washington University in Marketing and Business Administration with a second major in Film and Media studies. My research interests include French Left Bank director Alain Resnais’s body of work and its implications on the concept of time and memory, comedy verite as a redefinition of the sitcom genre, and finally, the negotiation between urban spaces and the people who inhabit them in the films of Wong Kar-wai.
